Bombay Workshop

Having spent the first two years outsourcing the manufacture of our designs to various different factories in Bombay, we began to realise the benefit of creating our own small manufacturing workshop. With our friend Veena, we found our first workspace, the size of a shoe-box along with two sewing machines. Veena then took charge, managing all our production thereon in, applying for her own export licence and registering her own manufacturing company. As we grew, the workshop grew and now we are in our fourth workspace, a huge airy building in a suburb of Bombay. Veena is now independently running her successful manufacturing business, employing over 70 talented men and women.

Win Green, her primary customer, can be assured of the continued and reliable quality of workmanship they developed together, along with the knowledge that a very unique work environment has been created through their collaboration. An environment which holds no room for the common-place prejudices of caste or religious belief and where the workplace can be a place of fun as well as hard work.
